Study of XML-Based Multi-Channel Workflows for the EU

Posted on April 26, 2018 by billkasdorf in Content Management, Government Agencies, Metadata and Identifiers, Solution Architecture

For the Publications Office of the European Union, conducted a study of single-source, XML-based, multi-channel workflows that led to recommendations by which an appropriate workflow or workflows could be established for the EU’s very diverse General Publications—which consist of official publications from all European Union countries—and can integrate with the master repository and information architecture of the EU which accommodates extensive legislative, judicial, and administrative publications as well. Also worked with the EU in the development of a master vocabulary to be used as the basis for the next-generation workflow for EU publications, and developed recommendations for improvements to the functionality and user interface of certain aspects of their systems.
